Every intricate design detail takes inspiration from Ekstedt's fire-based cooking. Charcoal black,  warm flame yellow, smokey grey and the icy blue of a Stockholm winter. Katie Holten's iconic Trees font is central to the wood theme ('Ek' meaning oak) while the minimal layout puts all focus on David's stunning photography.

The special edition is printed on yellow woodgrain-textured Wibalin with a blind-debossed oak tree on the back, and sits inside a charcoal black-lined clamshell box.
